72 miles - Charleston to Gold Beach Oregon. It rained all night so everything was soaked. Seems like the hardest part of this trip are the challenges I face each day. I got an early start only to break a cable one mile down the road. Then I made a wrong turn and added 10 miles to my ride. Then when I got to the camp ground it was closed for repairs. I rode about 10 more miles and found an old road which I followed. I made camp right on the edge of the ocean. This is the view from my tent. The fog is rolling in and I'm in my tent listening to the waves. Tomorrow I will be in California.
